Information We Collect

Audio you submit

When you record or upload speech, we process the audio to align it against a reference passage and score your pronunciation. Audio is stored so your results and history remain available to you.

Account information

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create and identify your account. Guest sessions are created without any personal details.

Usage and payment data

We record test activity (scores, sessions, credits used) to operate the product. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details — Stripe handles them under their own policies.

How We Use Your Information

  • To score your speech and show your results, history, and feedback.
  • To manage your account, credits, and paid packs.
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
  • To respond to support requests.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of providers to deliver the service:

  • Google — sign-in / authentication.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Cloud infrastructure & GPU compute — to store audio and run the scoring models.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account data and practice sessions until you delete them or close your account. You can permanently delete your account — including your balance and all practice sessions — at /delete-account. Once deleted, that data is no longer accessible and signing in again with the same Google account creates a fresh, empty account.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
